Digital film "Miss Pinoy" is a fiction inspired by a true story of a group of Overseas Filipino Workers who looked for a good investment in preparation for their eventual return to the Philippines but turned out to become victims of million dollar fraud.
Together they triumphed over insurmountable odds, gained the support of the media, help of NGOs, and attention of the government...
They were able to prove themselves, bring down a deceitfully influential person to his knees, and get back what was rightfully theirs.

Doing an indie film that is "Miss Pinoy," is a new venture for the award-winning actress whose last movie was "Sabel" under Regal Films. Most of the scenes of "Miss Pinoy" were shot in Manila but Judy Ann's trip to Hong Kong covered all the montage shots needed for this film.
